Samuel Adom's Fight

This GoFundMe is for my friends' son. They are desperately in need of money, because they aren't from the US. They are a lovely family and their son is a sweet kid that needs help. They even had to leave their 6 year old son Makarios back in Ghana to continue school and cared for by his grandmother. They have done everything they can and are endlessly looking for other ways to do something. They need money, plain and simple and they are running out of time. The amount is staggering because they are not citizens and have to pay. With no insurance the bills are crushing them. They have already looked into charities and even changing hospitals to find other avenues, but they are running out of time. The following message gives a few more details about their story and journey across the planet to save their son and is from them directly.

In the heart of Ghana, there's a brave little soul named Samuel Adom Kojo Ampong, a 3-year-old fighter who has been facing a tremendous battle against a brain tumor. On 8th February 2023, our world turned upside down when he was diagnosed. Since then, this little warrior has shown unimaginable strength, but he can't do it alone.

Ampong underwent a critical surgery that removed 95% of the tumor, followed by 22 weeks of grueling chemotherapy back in Ghana. Despite his valiant efforts, the tumor cells started to regrow, affecting his ability to walk, his eyesight, and hindering his chance to experience the joys of childhood. As a result of that He has been taken to Mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota USA where doctors have removed the tumor and he needs to undergo a chemotherapy treatment for 6months and stem cell transplant which cost is not yet known now.
