Sam's Alternative Health Care Needs

As you all know, Sam has been battling stage four prostate cancer that has spread to a few places in his bones. He went through 6 sessions of chemotherapy and is doing great! He just began a new immuno therapy treatment in which large portions of his blood are taken out and 'boosted' via all sorts of advanced medical treatments and give it back to him. So far, he is showing great results, but nothing conclusive yet.
I am starting this fund because Sam has not been working and has been receiving some benefits, but just enough to cover his basic needs. I'd like to help him get access to some alternative therapies including regular massages (his muscles can ache at times), herbal medicines, hydro therapy and a few appointments with specialists that don't take his insurance. He has been fairly active, taking walks every day outside, but with the colder weather coming he will be more reluctant to brave the elements, so I'd also like to get him a pass to the CCBA so he can exercise and also use the sauna there.
Sam has been very private about his circumstances and prefers not to share details or reach out. He also has a hard time asking for help, which is why I'm setting up this fund unbeknownst to him. I'd like to ask that you help me keep it confidential for his benefit. Depending on how much we raise, I will explain to him that some people have offered to help with some costs and if he wants to know more I of course will share with him.
I am convinced that he will benefit greatly from massages and herbal supplements as well as access to the gym, sauna and a few visits with specialists.
