Samson’s Road to Recovery Fund

On the night of August 7, my brother, Samson, had a sudden unexplained fall outside of his home that caused him to hit his head with extreme force against concrete pavement. He lost consciousness and experienced many neurological malfunctions in the aftermath. Fortunately, the fall was witnessed by his significant other, Eric, which led to quick delivery in urgent medical assistance. Unfortunately, he continues to be hospitalized for an unprecedented amount of time as he recovers from multiple head injuries including several brain bleeds, skull fractures and neurological deficits. He has been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Samson has been in the Intensive Care Unit and has required around the clock imaging, testing and monitoring. He is making strides daily but will require rehabilitation following his hospitalization.

Samson is a devoted son, a loving brother, an affectionate uncle, a supportive boyfriend, and a loyal friend. His birthday is today, August 12 and he turns 26. He could use all of your support as he endures the journey ahead. He has an occupation in the food industry which is his only source of income. While he recovers he will be out of work for an unknown length of time and with your help he will be able to focus more on healing and getting back on his feet at the pace his body and brain need. Your gift will help him with any medical, and insurance bills as well as living expenses he is dealt while on this likely lengthy road to recovery. Any amount is not too small.
