Samson’s Leukemia Is Back.
Donation protected
My sweet nephew, Samson, was only 4 years old when he was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He fought hard for 3 years to go into remission. His specific type, Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive, has caused his relapse.
He is receiving his initial treatment at Shands in Gainesville with hopes to come home and continue his care here in Pensacola. There will be many trips back to Shands for treatment, including a bone marrow transplant that could require a stay for over 100 days before he could come home. His mother, Nichole, will be staying with him while he is in the hospital, while his father, David, will continue to balance work and caring for their younger daughter, Willow, here in Pensacola, with many travels back and forth to Shands and our children’s hospital here in Pensacola.
Samson, now at only 8 years old, has spent half of his life fighting this cancer. Even with the financial strain those 3 years of treatment caused, David and Nichole did it without any fundraising.
Now as they continue down this unfortunate yet familiar path, we are coming together as their family to ask for your help.
The money raised will go towards covering medical expenses, living expenses, and travel costs.
Thank you in advance to anyone who finds it in their heart to help our sweet Samson and his family.
