Relief for the Samson’s

Hello everyone - my name is Lauren Ramfos and I’m starting this gofundme on behalf of my best friend Malia, her parents Kathy + Jeff Samson, her fiancé Travis + their 4 pups.

6 years ago Malia and her parents left MI to create their dream life in Sanibel, FL. After years of hard work they opened two restaurants, volunteered, partnered with many local businesses and became a staple to the Sanibel community.

Like many others in SW Florida, their lives have been turned upside down due to the recent hurricane. Water levels surpassed 18 feet during the height of the storm. The only causeway bridge to get the island has collapsed.

All of that being said, they now navigate the loss of their cars, their home, all personal belongings and their business.

They are all safe and though that is the most important part - it will be quite some time before their lives resume as they once did.

The Samson’s are like a family to me and they are some of the most selfless, kind, creative and hard working people I know. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated as they rebuild their home, business and lives.
