On Saturday, May 16th at about 6 pm one of the unpredicted events happened to our family. While getting ready to prepare dinner a kitchen fire began which took 85% of all our family's personal belongings in the home. Nearly all of Caelan's belongings were deemed lost due to the fire as well as the majority of Alanah's personal belongings. The fire completely gutted the kitchen and severely damaged the upstairs living room. Along with this smoke and heat damage have destroyed or ruined everything in the bedrooms on the same floor as the fire. Along with this, mounting medical bills has made it difficult for us as a family to be able to afford to pay all the piling bills and expenses that are continuously building up during this time. Getting through the next few months while rebuilding our family home we have occupied since 1968 will be difficult. With your gracious help, we hope to have some sense of normalcy and stability in our time of great need. We also are grateful and thankful to the City of Norwalk Fire Department and all first responders for arriving as quickly as they had and providing all the help they could.
