CALLING ALL SAM’S FAM!
We need you! Among many service related jobs, the restaurant industry is experiencing a detrimental financial setback in the wake of covid-19. Many restaurants and local small businesses, including Sam’s Tavern, have temporarily or permanently closed their doors due to the decrease in patrons, strict government regulations and overall well-being of our community. As a result many restaurant owners and employees are faced with scrambling to find alternative solutions to supplement income for rent, bills, food and take care of their families.
Many companies, have sent their employees home and graciously can continue to pay them. Though the change and adjustments to a new lifestyle at home with the kids for many are inconvenient, the consistent paycheck is reassuring. Unfortunately, we can not work from home. We rely on guests to support our business. When there are no people, there is no work for us.
We have encouraged all Sam’s employees to file for unemployment for a consistent paycheck however this will not equate to what they would typically make including tips, thanks to the generosity of our beloved guests. If you are a fan of Sam’s, love the crave able food and unforgettable experience, know our staff personally or just a good human who wants to help others we are reaching out to you in a time of need.
We love our team, whether they work directly with guests, in the kitchen or support staff we appreciate every single one of them and what they bring to our team. Through these tough times we want to support as much as possible. We have created this go fund me to support our staff during this uncertain time.
100% of all donations will be distributed evenly to Sam’s Team Members throughout our four locations.
We are reaching out to you during this time of need, this is one way we believe we can give back to our team, with your support. Without our reliable customers, we have no one to serve. We are passionate about what we do and know we will be back better and stronger than ever.
