Sam's (Sub's) Family Emergency to avoid homelessness

Hi! My name is Sam, but a lot know me as "SubliminalNation". My family has been humanitarian activists for 14 years. I volunteered for the GPUS in 2016 and then worked for the Stein/Ware Campaign in 2024. Every election we do as much as we can to put in the work to make change. We have been ballot initiative circulators for 7 years as well.

Currently, I am the secretary for the GPCO (volunteer) & Treasurer for the GCCC (volunteer).

We havent been in a situation to reach out for help in many years but this past December was one of the worst months for us to date.

In early December both of our cats, Link & Prince contracted a strange illness (possibly bird flu) and died within days of each other. In between that, My father in law passed as well.

It's been a struggle to get back into normal life these last few weeks, and that was the straw that broke the camels back.

We couldnt pay rent this month. We've been renting the same home for 3 years. I caretake for our 19yr old Son who is on the spectrum & homeschool our 7 year old. My son has been pending disability for a year now with no end in sight.

In November we started a tshirt business that hasnt made it off the ground yet as well.

With the housing the way it is, poor credit and no savings, getting evicted would put us in homelessness for quite some time. We are asking the community if they can help in any way, we would be beyond appreciative.
