Sam's puppy money for surgery, please help.

"Some of you may know that our daughter Samantha's dog was hit by a car on the highway last night. She has shared this dog with her boyfriend living in Dubuque since he was born. Due to a recent breakup Samantha has been home for this semester and Sunny has been having an extended stay with us. Last week we put a spare collar of our dogs ( Joy) on him so there would be a local number. Thank goodness. On 2/15 Sunny wandered too far from home and was hit by a car. Its nothing short of a miracle. He has both front legs broken. His chest cavity is full of air leaking from his lungs but no other organ damage, no rib spine or pelvic issues. They will keep him a couple days and monitor and they may have to "tap" the chest cavity to drain the air if he starts to have trouble breathing and so his organs can heal. We got to see him and love him up for a little while about 7pm. Then when I was filling out paperwork The animal control lady came to pick up her stuff and we got to hear the whole amazing story and give her a hug.The front desk lady got teary eyed. He will have to have surgery on his leg when he's more stable. The animal control lady said she was in Ankeny and got a call that a lab and golden retriever was running around on Vandalia so she was already driving this direction. 8 min later she got a call from police that a dog was hit. He was on the highway !!!! South of vandalia exit. She said several people were around helping him and loving him and callled called police. I am so grateful for everyone who had a role in this night . He is such a good dog. Blue Pearl Anomal hospital was wonderful. This will be a long and costly recovery but vet said since he is so young and vibrant he a normal full life once he recovers. Praise God for miracles I'm sending angels on Earth in his place."
