Sam's Journey: Surgery and Healing Support

This is my dear friend Sam. We have been friends for 25 years+. In the time I've known her, she has truly been through some hell and back, and especially in the last 2 years, really fought to get herself and her life back. She lives in North Carolina, and last year when her BIL passed away, she came home to Wisconsin to help her sister and ended up with an infection that caused her not to be able to travel home for a long period of time. Getting home and back on her feet, she is now facing needing a pretty major surgery that is going to put her out of commission for approx. 8 weeks. Her surgery is on Dec 5. I'd like to try and cheer her on by helping alleviate the loss of income she has faced this year and will need to face again during the holiday season.

Her surgery is a neck and back surgery where they are taking 5 discs out and replacing them with metal and bone marrow from her hip. They are also putting a cage on the front of her neck to push it back in place and removing bone spurs out of her spinal cord.

Sam would give the shirt off her back to the person next to her if they needed it. Please help me get my friend the support she could use during the holiday season and the time off she needs to heal.
