Sam's Deli - Restoration & Recovery

Sam's Deli and Grill is a favorite of many who frequent the Edgewood area of Homewood. Due to an electrical fire Saturday, January 28, 2017, the restaurant will be closed for a few weeks for repairs. As you can imagine, being forced to close a small business for even a few weeks presents tremendous financial challenges, not only for the business owner but also for its employees.
Sam, Suzan, and their family have endeared themselves to anyone who has taken the time to get to know them. They are active members of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, and as such I've personally been blessed by their friendship, dedication to the Lord, and generosity to the Church.
As a show of love and support for the Daibes family will you consider making a donation to help sustain them and their employees until the restaurant can re-open? All funds raised (minus the 7.9% that goes to gofundme) will be given directly to the Daibes family for Sam and Suzan to spend as they see fit. While I've set an ambitious goal of $10,000 (1,000 x $10 or 100 x $100) whatever money has been donated by this time next week (Sunday, February 5th) will be given to Sam and Suzan at that time. They are not aware of this fundraising campaign, but I have no doubt they will be overwhelmed with gratitude as the community comes together for them, as they have done for so many others through the years.
