Sam's Dad Steve - Funeral and Legal Bills
Donation protected
My name is Sam, and I am the only daughter of Steve. I'm reaching out to you with the hope that you would be willing to help cover the funeral costs and bills for my Dads passing.
My dad Steve was an IT tech with his own humble business and was known in the community as someone who truly cared about the person and computer he was working with. He was also a musician and created bands such as “Stevie and the Attitudes” and “Twin Coast” in his earlier years. He raised me as his only daughter as a single father; it was not easy on him. We had a lot of struggles, but he tried his best not to let me worry and tried to give me the best life possible. He was truly the best dad in the world. I had flown from California this November to be with my dad and spend the Holidays together.
In the winter of 2017, my dad Steve was diagnosed with colon-rectal cancer, which he had surgery to remove, but around February 2022, the colon-rectal cancer returned. He applied for surgery, but no one would take the job because it was incredibly risky with him having very little colon left. He finally found a doctor to do the surgery in March 2022. A week before the scheduled surgery he got a call from one of the doctors, and they told him they found cancer in his lungs and leg on the scans. It felt as if all hope was lost at that moment; we were very afraid. From then on my dad's health declined. I took frequent visits from California to care for him and keep his spirits up. I wanted to be there and take care of my dad for the Holidays, so I flew in this month. On November 20th, he started having body spasms and began to lose his consciousness. I was able to spend time with him for six days before I lost my dad on November 22nd. Two days before Thanksgiving.
The loss of my dad hurts so much. He was my rock, my hero, and my role model. It's because of my dad I am who I am today. I never wanted to imagine a world without my dad.
My dad was unprepared financially for his passing; He never wanted to talk about the possibility of his death and wanted to stay optimistic about his chances. He did not have social security or a bank account with my name on it to pay for funeral expenses and bills.
I need your assistance to lift the financial burden of the funeral expenses and bills during this difficult time. Please share this information so that I can lift this financial hardship.
