We would like to introduce you to our beloved son, Sammy. Sam has the very best giggle in the entire world. He loves his doggy, and loves curry sweet potatoes for dinner. He also has cerebral palsy.
Sammy was not breathing at birth. There was significant brain damage. He was in the hospital for three weeks. The doctors in the hospital did not believe Samuel would be anything more than what he was as a newborn. No movement, very low functioning. He was also diagnosed with Epilepsy. I was not able to hold him until day five, which was torturous in it self. When I finally did get to hold him for the first time, I promised him that I would do anything I could to improve his life; that I was not giving up on him.
We sought out alternative therapies, knowing our son was more than they could see. Although Sammy has responded well to these therapies, I feel I need to keep my promise to my son and do ALL that I can to help him heal and lead the most fulfilling life he can.
There is very compelling evidence, as well as parent testimonies, that Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can produce truly profound healing. At 22 months, Sammy is not yet crawling or walking. We are hopeful that HBOT could help him on his path to achieving those milestones. You can read more about HBOT here:Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy of Marin
As a parent it is heartbreaking when you know there is a treatment, like hyperbaric chamber therapy, that can actually help your child heal from injury, and the only thing between you and a miracle is money. If you can help at all, to make this therapy available to Sammy, well, that would be a miracle in itself. Thank you for letting me share with you a little about our beautiful son!
Sincerely, The Enos Family.
