Hey, my name is Eyre and I'm hoping to raise some funds for our beloved community member Sammi.
Why:
- January 5th 2025, Sammi and Faun got in a terrible car accident... The car flipped and fell about 10 to 15ft before sliding to a stop with Sammi trapped in the vehicle. EHS services had to be called to pry her out and rush her to emerge. They are both LUCKY to be alive.
- Sammi is in Physio-therapy but has not been able to work since the crash.
- They did not qualify for EI and has not received any funding from the government.
Where will these funds go:
- Overdue Bills, essential needs like housing and food, and lastly enough funds to move her to a more secure location.
- To tied her over until we can get her on Disability.
A bit about Sammi from someone who loves them:
- I have been LARPing with Sammi for 12+ years and proudly call her my chosen family.
- Sammi brings so much to the game, whether that is late night shenanigans, goofy disguises, or shooting an arrow at the big bad mid boss rant.
- She has always been there for me and asked for nothing in return. There has been so many times where I've needed a ugly cry and Sammi was the first person to embrace me and reassure me that my worries are valid and real.
- Sammi has always been there for her community and it took a lot for her to accept this help as she is nervous about making her financial situation public.
