Sammie’s Senior Dog Sanctuary - Help Save Old Dogs

Tax deductible
Sammie’s Senior Dog Sanctuary is a small family-operated senior dog rescue. We currently have 4 senior members but are constantly being contacted to save more. Which we wish we could!

To put it bluntly, these old dogs are EXPENSIVE and our donations have stalled.

Our sweet senior dogs all require medication, special food, LOTS of vet visits for an array of problems (bad teeth, tumor removals, achy joints, bad ears, bad eyes, etc.)

So many senior dogs are overlooked at shelters for this exact reason and ultimately are euthanized at a higher rate than younger dogs when they still have so much life to live!

Not to mention they aren’t easy behavioral wise. We are taking in old dogs with a lifetime of neglect and bad habits already formed before they get to us. It’s not an easy job, BUT we love to do it! It’s so rewarding to watch them get comfortable and healthy and feel loved no matter how much work it takes. Additionally, we want to continue saving senior lives.

All this to say, we need your help! PLEASE consider donating to our GoFundMe, or joining our Makua App where you can make a very small monthly donation. Of course, you can always donate on Sammie's Sanctuary Website. We are a registered 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible.

Again, thank you so much for all the support. ❤️
