The Blaschak’s IVF Journey
Donation protected
Hello, this is Makaela and Maddie, we created this Gofundme for our sister Sammie and brother in law Garrett. For the past three years Sammie and Garrett have been on a journey to start a family. Ever since their wedding, they have seen multiple specialists, had numerous tests, and treatments. They had even gone to the extent of surgery that was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, they were told that IVF is their only option now. IVF stands for In Vitro fertilization; this is where an egg is fertilized with sperm in a laboratory then implanted into a uterus. The doctors told Sammie that she would also be required to take additional medication that adds an extra large expense to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible. This has been a very emotional process for them, not only having so much trouble starting a family, but also with the financial burden it takes to do so. IVF is uninsured and will cost them approximately $20,000. Having a family is something both Sammie and Garrett have dreamed of. They are two people with incredibly big hearts who give so much to everyone around them. They never ask for anything and we know that they would never do this for themselves, so we put this fundraiser together for them. They have prayed for years to make this possible and it’s time for them to start this process. We are asking for the support of my sister and brother-in-law to make this possible.
To help everyone feel more included we have decided to do a puzzle fundraiser. That means, we will be getting a 500 piece puzzle and whoever donates $40 will have their name written on a puzzle piece. In the end, the puzzle will be put together and hung up to remember all of the great support they have had throughout this process. Your love and prayers are equally important in the next steps of their journey. Thank you so much and please spread the love for this amazing couple who trying to create a family.
