Samiya's Half Marathon 4 The Brain Tumour Charity

I will be running a half marathon on the 17th August 2021 (3 years since my operation) in order to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity.

This charity means a lot to me and here's why:
In July 2018 after a few years of bad migraines and dizzy spells (we now know these were absences/ petit mal seizures) I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. On the 17th August 2018 I underwent a surgery in-order to remove as much as possible. The surgery was successful and my surgeon managed to get the majority of the tumour removed. I now have frequent scans which help to monitor it.
Donating to this charity would mean so much to me as research about brain tumours is so important in order to keep treating people with this awful disease.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the leader in its field, funding world-class research, providing support and information and raising awareness of brain tumours. It is dedicated to beating this disease, the biggest cancer killer of people under 40 in the UK.
