Sami's Repatriation Fund

On Saturday the 2nd of July, our beautiful Sami decided to go for a night out with her beloved husband to a local bar in Malta, where they have been living for the last year. Unfortunately, she became a target and the victim of DRINK SPIKING at the hands of some evil strangers. Sami was rushed to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with brain death with her life depending on an artificial life support machine.

We are devastated; there are no words; life will never be the same again without her. Sami was passionate about life; she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, friend and full of life. Sami and her husband moved from their home country, Colombia, far away from their loved ones, looking for a better future.

Unfortunately, her family had to make the heartbreaking decision to unplug her from the life support machine and donate her organs just as how Sami would have wanted to, saving other people's life. Currently, it is very difficult to return Sami home with her loved ones due to many restrictions, so we are setting up this GoFundMe Page to raise funds to bring Sami home as soon as possible, this is costly, and with the help of the Sami's Repatriation Fund, we will get her back to her home country Colombia.

Our aim is to raise money in order to fund the expenses associated with Sami's passing. These include but are not limited to repatriation, funeral cost, and medical expenses in Malta.
