Sami's Heart Health: Urgent Support Needed

On the morning of Sunday, March 30, 2025, my daughter, Sami, who is only 20 years old and is 33 weeks and 4 days pregnant called me saying that she was dizzy and her Apple watch said he had a heart rate of 200bpm. She and her boyfriend, Riley, live in Arcadia, so I told her she might want to go to the Sarasota Memorial ER in North Port verses going all the way to Sarasota so she could get checked quicker. Once checked in they ran a whole run of tests and decided that it was best to transfer her to the main Sarasota Memorial in Sarasota. They had both her OB and Cardiology on stand by. North Port was saying that she had Cardiomyopathy of pregnancy. Once at Sarasota while repeating her Echo, the doctor talked to me and told me he feels that her arthritis that she was diagnosed with at the age of 4, was Systemic. Not only does Sami have Juvenile Arthritis but she also has Uveitis and Celiac Disease. He was saying that he feels like it is Systemic because when she was admitted to the ER her heart rate was at 210bpm and her heart released Troponin like someone having a heart attack, so Sami had a heart attack just not in the traditional terms.

This is now where Sami needs help. Sami was released from the hospital on Monday, March 31st. knowing that she is now considered a high risk pregnancy and will need to see her OB twice a week until she delivers her baby boy that is due the 2nd week of May and that she needs to wear a heart monitor for the next 2 weeks. She was to follow up with Cardiology later this week to get her monitor. She found out this morning that her insurance does not cover the heart monitor at all and the cardiologist that the hospital set her up with does not take her insurance. She and Riley are young and could really use some help right now. We need to get Sami's heart correct so that she can continue to carry her baby to term.
