Sami's opening a wildlife rehab facility

There are only two certified wildlife rehabbers within 100 miles of Memphis, Tennessee.

Those folks are wonderful people, doing incredible work, but they need help. Their facilities quickly become overcrowded, leaving many orphaned or injured animals to fend for themselves.  (insert tears here)

So, I'm stepping up. I'm spending some time during this pandemic-apocalypse-revolution earning my rehabber certification, so there can be another safe haven for wildlife in the Memphis area by this fall.  With my Class 2 rehabber license, I'll be able to help raccoons, squirrels, opossums,  foxes, rabbits, birds (excluding raptors), and assorted cryptids.  

I plan to open my facility in Fall 2020. Could you help? 

With these funds, I will: 
• level and prepare the land for the new building
• build a 16x16 rehab facility  (update: We might be able to go bigger, thanks to the art of haggling.) 
• purchase 12 enclosures of varying sizes 
• outfit the facility with all needed supplies 

These funds will not be used to: 
• purchase tigers or other exotic animals
• pay for personal purchases
• support Carole F. Baskin or Joe Exotic in any way 

And if there's more than I need? 
I imagine many people will opt to purchase items directly from my Amazon wish list, or donate second-hand items. That's super cool, too! Any funds raised beyond my start-up costs will be donated to the wildlife rescue that trained me. If it weren't for their generosity, I wouldn't be here now.
