Waarom deze actie?

In Roemenië leven tienduizenden zwerfhonden en -katten op straat. Ze worden dagelijks geconfronteerd met honger, hitte, kou, ziektes, mishandeling en uitzichtloze situaties. De beelden uit Roemeense asielen spreken boekdelen: overvolle hokken, gebrek aan medische zorg, geen verkoeling in de zomer, geen verwarming in de winter, en vaak geen enkele kans op herstel of adoptie.

Wij willen dat veranderen. Samen.

Wat willen we doen?

Wij zijn bezig met het opzetten van een kleinschalig maar doeltreffend opvangcentrum in de regio Bacău, waar we:

• Zwerfdieren opvangen in veilige, warme en hygiënische omstandigheden

• Sterilisatie- en vaccinatieprojecten uitvoeren om het aantal zwerfdieren terug te dringen

• Medische zorg bieden aan gewonde, zieke of mishandelde dieren

• Adoptieprogramma’s opzetten met Nederlandse en Belgische partners

Het wordt geen massaal asiel, maar een liefdevolle tussenstop: een plek waar honden en katten eindelijk tot rust kunnen komen, kunnen genezen — en hopelijk een thuis vinden.

❤️ Wat is er nodig?

We hebben onder meer geld nodig voor:

• Bouwmaterialen en schuilhokken

• Verkoeling (airco) voor de benauwde zomer

• Verwarming en isolatie voor de ijskoude winters

• Dierenartskosten en medicijnen

• Transportmiddelen

• Voer, dekens en verzorgingsmiddelen

Iedere donatie, hoe klein ook, helpt ons levens redden.

• Voor €10 kunnen we al een hond steriliseren

• Voor €50 kunnen we een zwaar gewond dier behandelen

• Met €100 helpen we een hele groep dieren een maand lang aan voedsel en verzorging

Wie zijn wij?

Wij zijn Samen voor Straatdieren, een groep Nederlandse vrijwilligers die al jaren samenwerkt met lokale dierenredders in Roemenië.

Onze organisatie is kleinschalig, transparant en 100% non-profit: elke euro gaat naar de dieren.

We werken samen met organisaties zoals Stichting Dierenhulp zonder Grenzen en Dogs Adoptions Nederland, zodat we gebruik kunnen maken van bestaande kennis, ervaring en adoptiekanalen.

Why this fundraiser?

In Romania, tens of thousands of stray dogs and cats roam the streets. Every day, they face hunger, heat, cold, disease, abuse, and hopeless conditions. The images from Romanian shelters speak volumes: overcrowded kennels, no medical care, no cooling in the summer, no heating in the winter, and often no chance of recovery or adoption.

We want to change that. Together.

What do we want to do?

We are working to set up a small but impactful rescue center in the Bacău region, where we will:

• Provide shelter for strays in safe, warm, and hygienic conditions

• Carry out sterilization and vaccination projects to reduce the number of street animals

• Offer medical care to injured, sick, and abused animals

• Organize adoption programs in collaboration with partners in the Netherlands and Belgium

This won’t be a large-scale shelter, but a loving halfway home: a place where animals can recover, find peace — and hopefully, a family.

❤️ What do we need?

We urgently need funding for:

• Construction materials and dog houses

• Cooling (air conditioning) for the stifling summer

• Heating and insulation for the harsh winter

• Veterinary care and medications

• Transport vehicles

• Food, blankets, and basic care supplies

Every donation, no matter how small, helps save lives.

• €10 can sterilize one dog

• €50 can treat a severely injured animal

• €100 can feed and care for a small group of animals for an entire month

De ce această strângere de fonduri?

În România, zeci de mii de câini și pisici trăiesc pe străzi. În fiecare zi se confruntă cu foame, căldură, frig, boli, abuzuri și condiții fără speranță. Imaginile din adăposturile din România spun totul: cuști supraaglomerate, lipsă de îngrijire medicală, fără răcire vara, fără încălzire iarna și, adesea, fără nicio șansă reală de recuperare sau adopție.

Noi vrem să schimbăm asta. Împreună.

Ce ne propunem?

Lucrăm la înființarea unui centru de salvare mic, dar eficient, în regiunea Bacău, unde vom:

• Oferi adăposturi în condiții sigure, calde și igienice pentru animalele fără stăpân

• Derula campanii de sterilizare și vaccinare pentru a reduce populația de animale de pe străzi

• Acorda îngrijiri medicale animalelor rănite, bolnave sau abuzate

• Organiza programe de adopție în colaborare cu parteneri din Olanda și Belgia

Nu va fi un adăpost uriaș, ci un refugiu plin de compasiune: un loc unde animalele se pot liniști, pot vindeca — și, cu puțin noroc, își pot găsi o familie.

❤️ De ce avem nevoie?

Avem nevoie urgentă de fonduri pentru:

• Materiale de construcție și cuști sigure

• Sisteme de răcire (aer condiționat) pentru verile sufocante

• Încălzire și izolație pentru iernile geroase

• Costuri veterinare și medicamente

• Vehicule pentru transport

• Hrană, pături și produse pentru îngrijire

Fiecare donație, oricât de mică, poate salva o viață.

• 10 € = sterilizarea unui câine

• 50 € = tratament pentru un animal grav rănit

• 100 € = hrană și îngrijire pentru un grup mic de animale timp de o lună întreagă

Cine suntem?

Suntem Samen voor Straatdieren, un grup de voluntari din Olanda care colaborează de ani de zile cu salvatori locali din România.

Organizația noastră este mică, transparentă și complet non-profit: fiecare euro merge direct către animale.

Colaborăm cu organizații de încredere precum Stichting Dierenhulp zonder Grenzen și Dogs Adoptions Nederland, pentru a oferi ajutor profesionist și rețele sigure de adopție.
