Same Sausee, New Heart - Help with Medical Bills
Donation protected
For those of you who know Sausee, you know he is the kindest, funniest, most down to Earth guy around. He always lights up the room and has a contagious laugh that brings a smile to everyone’s face.
On March 17th, Sausee was admitted to the Ventura Medical Center due to complications with his heart; it was working at only 5%. He was transferred to Keck Hospital of USC shortly after on March 20th where he was added to the Heart Transplant list. With your prayers and the Grace of God, he received his miracle matching heart on Easter Sunday, April 4th. The next day, April 5th, Sausee went into his heart transplant surgery. He was in surgery for 4 days where he suffered multiple strokes. It was a long 4 days but with his strength, all of your prayers, and the amazing Doctors at USC Tech Hospital he had a successful surgery.
Not all days were perfect, but each day he has been improving. He has been getting up and taking steps, communicating with friends and loved ones, and cracking jokes as we all know he loves to do. Although he had fun flirting with the wonderful nurses, it is finally time for him to come home. He was released Tuesday May 25th. He will not be able to drive himself or work for about 3-6 months. He still has a long road to recovery but with your help we are sure he will be back to the Sausee we all know and love in no time!
As you could imagine, the medical bills have been adding up so we are asking for a bit of help. Please donate whatever you can, anything helps.
Thank you all so much for your prayers, kind words, and positive spirits while we continue this road to recovery for our friend Sausee.
Sincerely,
Rouz and Joe Joe
