Samantha Biggs Medical Expenses

Samatha was recently diagnosed with an apple sized grade 4 glioblastoma (the most advanced grade tumor and the worst type of brain cancer). The tumor caused the blood supply to the brain to be cut off which resulted in a stroke. The stroke resulted in extreme weakness (near paralysis) throughout the left side of her body. She had the tumor removed in an emergency surgery and opted for aggressive treatment. She completed 6 weeks of radiation with ongoing chemotherapy. She's currently in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. Sam along with her husband, Robert, are doing all they can to achieve a full recovery.

This diagnosis has left Sam and Robert with some incredibly large medical bills and many battles with insurance companies. This is an extremely trying time for two of the most incredible, selfless people. Sam and Robert have been extremely positive throughout this process and inspiring to everyone around them. After much deliberation, Sam and Robert have allowed us to help them with this fundraiser. This diagnosis has caused Sam to lose her job and Robert hasn't been able to work for several months in order to be at home to help his wife. We want to do our part to ease some of the financial burdens.
