I noticed a bump between my vulgar and anus. It became quite painful. Went to the er and they said it was in infection so they started me on antibiotics. The next day it was unbareable. I ended up going into the ER again. They attempted to Lance it and drain but they were not successful. The next day I followed up with OBGYN. They were able to Lance it. By the next day the abcess was filled up again. I went to the ER for the 3rd time. That time they did an emergency surgery and admitted me to the hospital where I spent 4 days in. 2 CT scans, 1 incision and drainage, 1 wound packing, multiple blood draws, LOT of pain meds, and lots of whirlpool baths. I was released and everything seemed to be going fine. I had my follow up ND still looked good. Made it through the week and by Monday night I ended up back in the hospital for another emergency surgery. Again lots of needles, 2 surgeries, Ctscan, unpacking of the wound which I couldn't tolerate, whirlpool bathes. This last surgery they ended up making an incision near my urethra to my anus. Another 4 days in the hospital and another 2 weeks of recovering at home. Lots of special people ha e reached out, lots of prayer and tears shed. But I finally got to come home. 3 soaks a day with an open wound in hopes that this will heal properly.
