LET'S SURPRISE SAMANTHA WITH A CAR!!

WHO:   Samantha is our beloved little sister from Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  I met her when she was 13 years old and now she is just a few months from graduating with her Teaching Certificate from Prairie View A&M.  

She's a great girl with a big heart!  She is working hard to complete her student teaching in Katy this spring and will graduate in May!  

She has plans to return home to DFW when she finishes in May to begin teaching and saving up for a new car and saving for her own apartment.  She will have to live with family while she saves and plans to work part time at Amazon in addition.  

WHAT:   She desperately needs a new car! 
Sam came to stay with us this week during the storms and we witnessed the condition of her current car.  She is driving an old Nissan that is missing the side mirror, has lost power steering, has had numerous repairs and the current necessary repairs will cost more than the car is worth.  

We are so proud of the hard work she has put into finishing college and working to support herself while she prepares for her transition to the real world.  

Chris and I would to help her with that transition by gifting her with a reliable car that would allow her to focus her savings on bigger goals.  

Our goal would be to find her a used car in the 2500-5000 range.  We are thinking a Honda Civic, Accord, or CRV or a Toyota Ray 4 would be a great option.
