Samantha's Fight

On March 30th, 2017, Samantha was Diagnosed with a Grade 2 glioma, a form of brain tumor, at the age of 25. She is married to Lance and together have a 17 month old daughter Kinley. Samantha is a LPN working as a Private Duty Nurse through Prairie River Home Care.
Since March, she has experienced multiple visits with neurologists, neurosurgeons, procedures including; MRI, MRV, Spinal tap/Lumbar puncture, blood draws, and eye exams. As wells as visits to the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Samantha has been prescribed multiple medications since, and will continue with treatment including an MRI every three months for years, along with having a Craniotomy that will be scheduled July 7th, 2017; if the ICP of the brain has decreased to normal levels by that date.
Recovery will require two to three months process out of work. Medical bills have begun mounting for the Bernardy family, and we ask for all to come together and help out their family.
