Samantha’s Endo Excision Surgery

My name is Samantha. I’m the daughter of Mia Hagin and step daughter of Craig Hagin.
I have been diagnosed with kidney Disease and stage 4 endometriosis. I am scheduled for excision surgery on February 2nd in Atlanta.
Endometriosis is a disease that acts much like a cancer causing ulcerations, internal bleeding and adhesions usually found on a woman’s reproductive organs. In my case it has been found on Kidney Ureters, Bladder, Stomach and Bowels. I have been in constant pain since my last hospitalization in November 2017.
My Dr has told me that they are not certain to what degree the endometriosis has infiltrated some of these organs or to what degree my fertility has been affected. They do know that some nerves are wrapped up in some endometrial adhesions and that I need all the endometriosis removed to stop any further damage along with a bowel resection.
I believe just like my parents believe... I should do everything medically that I can do and let God do the rest.
I have found an excellent surgeon and medical team and for the 1st time in a long time I’m feeling hopeful about my health.
I had a Dr’s appointment yesterday (Jan,16th, 2018) My Dr said My kidneys are stressed and not flushing like they should. I’m carrying approx 38lbs of fluid on my body(most of you wouldn’t even recognize me)
I NEED to have excision surgery on Feb, 2nd.
My life has been at a stand still for too long.
And This is why I’m reaching out to my friends for Help........
I found out yesterday from my mom. That even with my health insurance, My medical bills have been a HUGE burden on my family to the point that they are believing for a miracle financially to pay the upfront costs for my surgery.
Because I have a complicated case of endometriosis and require excision surgery on several organs I have been referred to a surgical team of Dr’s who can do the excision surgery I need on multi organs along with the bowel resection. However this surgical team is Out of Network. My insurance will cover everything except the upfront cost of my surgery due to them being out of network. A claim will be filed after my surgery and the board can make a decision at that time on coverage. So that leaves me with a 7000.00 upfront cost for surgery.
My parents know I need this surgery and have completely stepped out in Faith a week ago and paid my $500.00 surgery deposit to secure my surgery on February 2nd, 2018.
They are also having to purchase airline tickets and pay for a place to stay and Car while I have surgery. So I prayed yesterday and asked God how I could help or what I could do to help this situation. I have felt strongly since yesterday that God wanted me to do this “go fund me” and ask for help.
Which isn’t an easy thing for me to do.
I need this surgery now and I want to take the pressure off my mom and stepdad.
It has been all of my hospitalizations and kidney surgeries, bladder procedures, LAP surgeries that has left them with enormous medical bills. I was hospitalized 17 times in
2017. I haven’t been able to work or finish college because of chronic endometriosis pain and kidney procedures from kidney stones.
2017 has been a really rough year for my family. We suffered some real losses along with weathering the heartbreaking situation with my brother Blake.
I don’t want my medical problems to be a burden to anyone. So I’m asking for your support by donation or prayers.
