Samantha’s Bold Faith Journey

My name is Samantha and I’m an elementary school teacher living in Ontario, Canada.

Ever since I was a little girl, God has been calling me to teach. I remember gathering all the stuffed animals I could find in the house so I could have a class to play teacher to...and even setting my little brother in the midst of them! 

I’ve been teaching for about 8 years now and this year God is calling me to take my journey a BIG step further. He has called me to take a mission trip to Zimbabwe, Africa.  

When God calls, you answer! So I applied for an unpaid year away from teaching in Canada to travel overseas and use my skills in ministry work with women and children. 

I’m so excited and equally nervous at the same time. My Pastor recently said “In missions there are two groups of people: those who go and those who send.” As I answer God’s call to go, I am trusting in the Lord to provide for and guide me in every step of my bold faith journey. I decided to make this page for anyone who God is calling to send me and support my mission trip. We are one body in Christ Jesus and we are all in this together!

May God bless this missionary journey and to Him be the glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
