Hello, my name is Samantha Leach and I am a Junior at TCU. Family is extremely important to me and when it comes to family I only have my parents left. They are my biggest support system and I try to do everything I can to protect them and take care of them. My family has faced quite a few hardships this year, however, we are currently facing our toughest battle yet. On July 6, 2017, my dad (our only source of income) lost his job. My mom has a bunch of rare autoimmune diseases and is no longer able to work. We have reached the point where we no longer have money, not even for basic necessities. We normally would not ask for assistance, but we don't know what else to do.

We are looking for money to cover immediate needs and a short, extended period of recovery. Expenses include the following:
-Rent (deposit as well): no longer able to live in current home and are currently going to be living in their vehicle
-utilities (trash, water, electricity)
-food/hygiene/household supplies
-gas for vehicle
-medical (medications for mother and father), any doctors visits that arise
-communication (cell phone)
-furniture/household goods replacements (selling most items to get money until other funds develop)

Any funds raised will be going to take care of my family and 2 dogs. Luckily I am taken care of as far as tuition goes and can find ways to make ends meet, therefore my main focus is my family. 

Every little bit helps and we are beyond grateful for any assistance we receive and that you are able to afford.
