Hi dear friends!
It seems fitting that my first Go Fund Me page is for a rescue French Mastiff.
I’m helping Brea St. James raise money for Samantha the Dogue de Bordeaux ‘s medical bills. We were connected a couple days ago through friends. Read the story below ... she’s my my hero. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts in advance! I’ve gotten the chance to spend time with Samantha today and she’s so sweet, but so sick. Any amount will be so appreciated ❤️
Brea asked me to just repost her initial IG post.

I was sitting outside my camper reading a book when a handsome young professional looking man walked by Spanish Banks. A lot of people with dogs walk there, but I rarely stop and talk to them. For some reason, I felt compelled to talk to this dude and his dog. The longer I spoke to him, I began to realize that this man wasn’t right. Apparently he used to be an Anesthesiologist in the US, but lost his medical practice after some malpractice suits. Bad news all around. I just couldn’t stop starring at his scared dog. The longer I looked at her, the more I realized that she was very afraid and also very sick. She looked like she had mange all over her, her nails too long, and a growth on her forehead that I couldn’t stop looking at. Her nipples and private parts were slowlen and she looked like she was extremely hot and inflamed. Anyone that knows me knows that I love animals, but I didn’t expect to say the words I was about to say to this strange man. “Let me see how much money I have in my truck and I’ll buy her from you.” $400 later , I had a 77lbs ( should be 120LBS) pure bred French Mastiff in my possession and I was a bucket of tears. Sometimes it’s a lot easier to not get involved in other people’s messes but when there’s a creature that cannot speak for itself, I think it’s important that we act. She’s had a vet appointment and needs a lot of medical attention.
Your donations will help Brea rehabilitate this special girl before finding her a forever home. If there’s any donations left over, the money will be donated to SPCA.
