Samantha (Sammi or Sam) Windsor
Donation protected
Hi, this is Christine and Sallye from the Clinical Content Team in Application Services. We are organizing this Go Fund Me on behalf of our dear friend and co-worker, Erin Johnston, to collect donations to help Erin and her family as they deal with the tragic death of Erin's oldest daughter Samantha (aka Sam/Sammi). Sam was in her early 20s living in the Washington area for the last few years.
Sadly, Sam was a victim of a hit-and-run accident in Redmond, Washington on March 14th. You can read more about the incident here: KIRO 7 news. Erin will need to travel to Seattle to retrieve Sam and bring her back home for funeral services later. We are hoping to help Erin with her travel expenses, funeral arrangements and any other family needs during this difficult time.
Thank you for your generosity and thoughts.
A personal note from Erin:
“Sammi is the most amazing person anyone could ever meet. She truly never met a stranger because she instantly considered everyone a friend. She would literally give you the last bite of her burger if you were hungry or the coat off of her back if you were cold, even if it meant that she would go without. She has always danced to her own beat, and loved without any limits. She will always be a best friend, a big sister and a bright light when it's dark out. One of her favorite sayings has always been "Believe there is good in the world." She had a sign with that saying on it hanging in her room and now I have it in mine. Samantha touched so many people in so many ways, from the East Coast to the West Coast. Our family will have a void in our hearts without her here but we know that she is watching over us and we will be together again one day.”
