Tuesday October 20, 2020 update:
The Family has received the much needed funds for Samantha's funeral and autopsy expenses. As of today Ronald Reagan UCLA Hospital will be picking up Samantha's Body to perform the autopsy. The family will notify me after the autopsy on when the viewing will be so stand by for the dates.
Tuesday October 13, 2020 update:
Thanks to Sam's friends and family we have reached and exceeded our goal. At this time I will be closing the fund in order to secure the money. After I have received the funds from Go Fund Me to my bank account I will then proceed with presenting a check to Samantha's father Floyd Rose. Also the family would love thank everyone personally for their support. So if you can email me your contact at [email redacted] and I will pass it along. Lastly I will be continuing the daily updates on Samantha Facebook page so please look out for that. Thanks you again!

Monday October 12,2020 update:
The family is still in the process with the hospital on trying to get Samantha's body released. We will notify everyone via Facebook when we are able to get a date on the viewing. Please keep in contact with me via email as well. [email redacted]
Funeral for Samantha Rose
Dear Family & Friends,
I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of our beloved Samantha.
She is survived by her daughter Amanda. Samantha and I have been best of friends since high school for over 20 years and her sudden passing took us all out of surprise. My heart ache over this devastating news and i am trying to make sense to all of this.
On Friday October 2, 2020 Samantha had a stroke and was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital that morning. She was intubated, and sedated before having surgery to remove the embolism from the left side of her brain. After surgery she had a CT scan imaging to confirmed that all embolism was removed. On Saturday October 3, 2020 her breathing tube was removed and she was breathing on her own.
She was still sedated going in and out of consciousness. On Sunday October 4, 2020 she was doing much better turning on her own moving both legs but was having issues with moving her right arm. On Wednesday October 7, 2020 she was doing much better she smile and nodded her head. On Thursday October 8, 2020 when hospital staff was trying to move her she started to cough and had trouble breathing.
While the hospital staff was trying to help her and insert a new breathing tube her heart had stopped. The nurses, doctors, and respiratory staff proceeded to perform CPR for about 30 minutes before they had to call it. It was so sudden and unexpected that we loss our Samantha.
They will be a viewing for her coming up. I will update everybody on the date. Due to the pandemic they will be limitation on how many people that can come to the funeral service. Currently the family is making arrangements so we will keep you updated.
We are absolutely devastated by Samantha’s passing. And would greatly appreciate the help towards her funeral service. Here is a breakdown of all the costs involved in the funeral service for Samantha.
Independent autopsy $5000
Cremation $2000
Rose Garden Viewing (to be updated)
We will need to pay all funeral costs by Monday October 12, 2020.
