Samantha Ritter and Daniel Brykalov

Hello. Our names are Samantha Ritter and Daniel Brykalov. We are an ice dance team skating at the senior level. This is our second year together as a team. We compete for the country of Azerbaijan. We are the current national champions for ice dance for Azerbaijan and will be competing at the European Championships this January. Our goal is to qualify and compete at the World Figure Skating Championships in Tokyo Japan in March. Funds raised will go towards our training expenses and our travel expenses as most of our competitions are international.

(Samantha started skating at the age of 3 in Amherst, NY. She moved away from home to train in Michigan and to find a dance partner at the age of 14. Daniel had been skating with his sister for several years before being partnered together with Samantha. They both competed at the national level in the United States at the Junior level before skating together. Samantha and Daniel started skating together just over two years ago and moved to London, Ontario, Canada to train with Scott Moir and his team of coaches as part of the Ice Academy of Montreal. Samantha is also a student at Western University in London and works hard to balance her training schedule and competitions with her schoolwork. Daniel is also a student studying the field of IT and cybersecurity.)

We would greatly appreciate any help that is available to help us continue with our goals to compete on a world stage. Our long-term goal is to continue to train and improve and work toward qualifying for the next Olympics in 2026.
