Samantha Marie Daly was an amazing, beautiful, and intelligent woman who loved music, art, and all things nature. Samantha was born on December 15, 1994. She unfortunately succumbed to the complications of her autoimmune disease of Ulcerative Colitis on February 12th, 2024 at the age of 29.

The disease shaped her life in many ways. Most importantly it gave her the will to graduate in the top 1% of her class at La Joya Community High School, despite the fact she only attended 38 days of her senior year due to her health.

She achieved her Masters Degree at Arizona State University majoring in Biology with a specialization in Genetics, Cellular and Developmental Biology.

Samantha had 2 published articles in the Oxford Academic G3 Journal.

After life, she continued her passion of science by donating her body to the United Tissue Network to further research and education.
