Samantha , Jessie, and Baby Morgan

On August 16th Sam went to a routine Obstetrics appointment. Her blood pressure was unusually high so they admitted her to the Maternity floor at SMC. She was 26 weeks pregnant. On August 21st, with her blood pressure still unstable she was transferred to Crouse Hospital in Syracuse and admitted to the high risk pregnancy floor.

On September 5th at 29 weeks Sam delivered Morgan Lee via c section . Morgan weighed just 2 lbs and 6 ounces. She was immediately taken to the NICU. Morgan will likely spend the next 2-3 months in the NICU and Sam and Jessie are staying at the Ronald McDonald house in Syracuse to be with her as much as possible. I have had several people reach out to me and ask if there was somewhere they could donate to them. There are numerous costs associated with such a lengthy hospital stay and caring for a premature baby. Sam, Jessie and the whole family greatly appreciate any help you can give.
