Samantha Hill's Fight against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Just a brief update... Samantha completed her first round of chemotherapy and had a bit of a rough start this past weekend but is in good spirits. Her mom Amy Hackney has set up an Amazon wish list as well. Samantha and her husband Dan would like to thank you all for your generous donations and support.
In August 2023, our princess warrior Samantha was diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and celebrated her 35 birthday with her first-round of chemotherapy. TNBC is an extremely fast and aggressive type of Breast Cancer. This was discovered accidentally after a kick to the breast from one of her 18-month-old twin boys. Within a month, she has built an amazing medical team and has faith that they will be able to provide a cure so she can watch her boys grow up.
Samantha is an incredibly brave, positive, and loving person. In addition to taking care of her twin boys, she was working two jobs, one from home and the other in a hospital as a trauma nurse. Due to the very aggressive weekly chemo treatments, working in a hospital is no longer an option.
This is going to be a long hard fight and she needs all the support she can get. As you can imagine, her husband Dan will have his hands full taking care of the boys and his wife. Money should be the least of their worries and will be used towards medical, child, and living expenses. As the beneficiaries, they have complete control of the funds.
Samantha and Dan thank you all for your support.
