Hi. My name is Angie and I am fundraising to help off set my 13 year old daughter's medical expenses. She has been diagnosed with multisystem inflammatory disorder (MIS-C) which is a result of having Covid. She has been in a medically induced coma since 4/26 and is fighting off infection and inflammation with the help of all her nurses and doctors here at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. This is the worst case they have ever treated. Samantha is an A+ student and participates in our local competitive swimming club. She has always been healthy and active. She loves her animals which includes cats and a dog. She is kind and giving with a great set of friends that make everyone feels welcome around them. This has struck our family to the core. I just found a job after being underemployed for the past year due to covid. Things were looking up, starting to plan vacations and such and now it seems those plans are on hold.
