Samantha Grace Memorial Fund

Our dear friend Samantha Grace has gone too soon.  No one could ever prepare for this day and the tragic accident that took the lives of a young couple who were engaged and soon to be married. Sam and Noah were on the right path and had a bright future ahead of them. If we can find any peace in this accident it would be that they had each other.  In our grieving we decided that we needed to do anything we could to help her mother Meg and family through this time.  The least we could do is insure that her family has the means to provide the best funeral and memorial that she well deserves. No mother should have to do this alone so Katlin and I wanted to make sure Sam is remembered in the best way. As her friends, we are trying to help collect the resources necessary. All donations will go directly to Samantha's mother so she can prepare for her daughter's memorial. Samantha Grace Handy was the epitome of kindness. She was the perfect teammate, daughter, lover and friend. She had so much love inside of her tiny little body. The memories everyone has of her from being friends for years to just talking a few times are nothing but positive because she just radiated love and acceptance. Samantha was one of the only people I ever knew to never judge, she always tried to find the good in people even when they didn't deserve it. She was one of the most air headed people I knew as well, for years I would always explain to her and the look on her face when she would say "OHHHHH" was and always will be priceless. I saw this girl grow up before my eyes, grow up with me; we shared so many laughs, so many secrets, inside jokes, and the greatest memories over the years. I don't know why this happened but I do know the world will never be the same without her. Although she wasn't apart of law enforcement, the world deserves to know her story, and know the impact she had on the people she came into contact with. Little Sam thank you for making this world a little brighter in the time that you did have, thank you for making me a better person and finally thank you for the unconditional love you always gave everyone without expecting anything in return. You are truly an angel and the kingdom of heaven is blessed to have you join them. -Katlin

Little Sam was a light in my life. I met her our sophomore year and no matter the day we had there was no doubt that she would put a smile on my face. She was such a great friend to everyone and made sure everyone knew that they had a special purpose in this life. She did more for us than she could ever imagine. Everyone who knew her would agree that she had an amazing personality that would outshine anything. There are many memories we share that will be with me forever. She had the ability to make any day an eventful one. I appreciate her for making sure we all knew how much we meant to her and I know she knows she meant so much to us.  I'm going to miss being able to make so many memories with her. I hope that she is at peace and is happy. If I could tell her how special and kind she was again I would. Her life was short but she made it worth every second. I'm so sorry we couldn't have more time with you angel but God called you home to him and I understand that now. I know that her and Noah are taking care of each other and looking after their families and friends. We all need them just like they need us now. I love you so much Sam. Rest in paradise.  -Ashley
