Samantha is 17 years old with Left handed hemiplegia, registered partially sighted and has learning disabilities. She is unable to access motorised wheelchairs from the NHS due to budgeting constraints. A motorised wheelchair will give her some independence, as she is unable to propel herself in a manual chair due to an inability to use her left arm, so she always needs someone with her to help her get around. This cost will cover the cost of an custom sized wheelchair and a tribike attachment which turns it in to a motorised wheelchair. The tribike has an incredibly long life and can be used for many many years in the future and is a guaranteed certainty of improving Samantha's quality of life.
