Early Monday morning we received a phone call from Samantha’s husband James that they were at the hospital and Mandy had stopped breathing. Everyone rushed to James side and Mandy’s bed side to be there for the both of them. There was nothing we could do other than pray that her condition would quickly improve. The doctors worked on her all morning. At times we thought our prayers were answer as the doctors were able to find a pulse. But with that she coded three times. She was going to get transferred to Rex hospital where she could get better help. Samantha stop breathing in the ambulance on the way to Rex where they worked on her for over forty five minutes and where unable to bring her back. The whole family is completely shattered as this was extremely unexpected. Her wish were not to be cremated but to be at the beach where she grew up. We would love to fulfill her wishes. Samantha was so young and had so much more life in her that we would never get to experience with her. We sit and thank about all the memories we did have together and we can only be grateful! She was so involved in everything we did. She had such a big heart when it came to the kids of the family and no one will forget that.
