Samantha and Damian Vazquez lived in an apartment in Bayonne, NJ, the town they met and grew up in. They've been living there since the summer of 2012 with their cat Papi who they found and rescued in 2011.
On Tuesday, March 5 this apartment that they started their married life in caught on fire. Fortunately Damian was already off to work and Sam was able to get out safely, but they are still in search of their kitty.
They have each other but they lost everything and are going to have to restart entirely, buying everything from couches and electronics, to knives and forks. Any little bit that you can send will help them immensely and please also keep Papi's safe return in your prayers.
