Hi, my name is Annette and I am trying to help my friend Samah and her sweet family in Gaza .

The unrelenting Israeli bombardment and resulting unimaginable hardship, death and devastation all around them has put them in constant fear of their lives .

Samah runs a women’s project in Nuseirat Refugee camp and has always helped those who are most vulnerable and desperate . She and her family are in desperate need themselves .

The only way for them to escape this horrific situation is to get through the Rafah border crossing to Egypt using brokers , who charge £7000 for each adult and £2500 for each child .

There is starvation , devastation, very limited medical care , little water, limited electricity and no hope for them at present.

There have been 31000 people killed so far in Gaza since October last year , huge numbers of which are women and children.

Samah tells me that they have bombs raining down on them day and night , including white phosphorus.
