Two years ago I started a gofundme to help remove a tumor next to my dog Sam’s eye and received tons of support. Unfortunately there wasn’t a guarantee that it wouldn’t grow back and it inevitably did with a vengeance. Due to the rapid growth of the tumor I have made the hard decision to remove Sam’s left eye entirely along with the tumor. He is still an athletic, healthy and happy dog, which makes me believe he still has a few comfortable years left under his belt. This surgery will end up costing more than twice the amount of the last one and I am allocating my resources to pay for it but as a full time worker and full time college student-athlete it may be too much for me to handle. I will pay the difference from the amount raised. Anything helps and I will deeply appreciate the support if you decide to help out. Those that know me, know I hate handouts so think of this as an investment in a good ole boy who has the rest of his life to live in a more comfortable manner. Sam will rock an eye patch.
