Sam's Legacy

Our wonderful and loving dad, Nizam Shaw, lost his recent battle after 4 months of being on life support. My heart, my mother's, my husband's, my niece's and brother's are in a million pieces. He passed with all of us by his side or as close as we could be with modern technology.
Since December 29th 2017, my family and I have been living a nightmare, I came home Christmas, from abroad and my dad took ill with a rare form of pneumonia, which developed into a diagnosis of IPF and other conflicting diagnosis from the hospital.
Eventually, after 4 months of being on life support, due to ongoing issues with the hospital not being able to treatment my dad's illness appropriately, he gradually lost nearly all motor functions and slipped into an irreversible coma and lost his battle at the age of 60 years young, leaving a void in our hearts and soul.
My family and I are devastated. I am devastated, because my dad passed away before I could make it home in time, whilst travelling back home from Ireland.
Sadly even with insurance, medical expenses and now funeral costs have added up to a considerable amount and I would ask that instead of sending flowers or gift baskets please make a donation to help us to cover these costs. We are a proud family and asking for assistance does not come easy, but in such a time we do not see an alternative.
We cannot articulate the heavy despair and emptiness in my heart and soul....it is incomprehensible.
We hope that the funds raised will help with the surmounting medical bills and to get to the bottom of Sam's highly questionable hospital care.
