Hi, I'm Sam and I'm fundraising towards my journey to the Dragon Boat World Championships 2025 in Brandenburg, where I have been selected to represent Great Britain.

Whilst Dragon boating is recognised on the world sporting stage and recognition by the IOC is being saught sadly athletes representing their country are not funded and all accommodation, travel and additional expenses are covered by the athlete.

I feel uncomfortable asking those to sponsor me for something that I have chosen to participate in, therefore I am offering unique opportunities to those who choose to sponsor me.

However, in addition if you sponsor me :

£10- shout out on my maths YouTube channel (you can even choose the topic of not already covered, up to Foundation GCSE maths level)

£15 - you can opt for a 10 minute hand and arm massage (AM)

£20- 15 minute head, scalp, face massage (HM)

£25 - 25 minute back, neck, shoulder massage. (BM)

£30 - 30 minutes pilates session either

1-2-1 or for two people (PS)

£30 - 30 minutes maths tutoring session for an adult by Zoom or face to face to explain a topic up to GCSE foundation maths level (Ms)

£50 - 45 minutes Zumba class for you and up to 9 friends. You need to provide the venue. (ZS)

To any company who woukd be willing to sponsor me I'd be happy to place your sign on my O1 boat that I train in (small boat in pics) and advertise your company as I paddle up and down the River Avon.

I am a qualified Zumba Zin instructor, have qualifications in body and facial massage and have passed the practical part of my Pilates teacher qualification, so these are not just random offers Times to be arranged when possible, during say on a Monday or weekends where I'm not away training or during school holidays.

It has been a long journey over the last five years with regards to my health and having to stop playing hockey, netball and tennis to the level I was used to. Dragon boat has given me back the opportunity to participate in high level sport and given me a focus to rebuild my fitness and take a different path in regards to my sporting career. I can't wait to step out in Brandenburg and represent GB and I thank you for any way in which you can help me.
