Sam Orcutt's Stroke Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Thursday, January 26th, Sam suffered from a very rare bilateral stroke occurring on both sides of his Thalamus. By Saturday morning, January 28th, Sam had not been responsive and the doctor's informed the family that he would mostly likely not survive from this type of stroke. They mourned and prayed all day. They had people all over the world praying. Then Sunday morning, January 29th, Sam opened his eyes for the first time and was taken off of life support.
Monday, January 30th he was able to eat for the first time. Wednesday, February 1st, he will transfer to acute rehab. Day by day they will see how his recovery continues and what permanent brain damage will remain.
His wife Danielle, their 17 year old son Isaiah and 6-year old daughter Kaylyn are handling things ok. Hopeful that as they cope during this difficult time, these funds can be used to give Sam the help he needs to recover and his family time to be there with him.
