Help Sam medically transition before 40!

Who this will help

For those who don’t already know, my name is Sam and I’m transmasc. This is something which I’ve always known about myself but was petrified to do anything about. I’m now 32 so I’m also quite nervous starting this journey so late into my life (I know, I know - I’m still young…).

I cant hide who I am or who I’m meant to be anymore and I need to medically transition for me, for my own dignity, and my own mental health.

I’m currently on the NHS waiting list for an initial assessment at a specialist gender clinic but it’s likely to take 27 months for that initial discussion and then will take even longer to begin any treatment. I can’t wait for my life to begin at the end of my 30’s, I need to do everything I can to get the treatment I need sooner. That’s why I have created this GoFundMe, to ask for anyone who is comfortably able to, to donate whatever you can to help me get private medical treatment and start my medical transition as soon as possible.
