As many of you know and for those of you that don’t, Sam was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The accident took place on K18 North shortly after 8pm Saturday, August 17th. There was a witness on scene to help stabilize him until the EMTs arrived. Sam was rushed to MercyOne Medical Center and after thorough testing they found he broke his right arm and hand, his left ankle and his C6/C7 vertebrae. The cervical fracture has caused great pressure and some damage to his spinal cord. As of now, the outcome of the damages are up in the air and we are hoping to get a better idea of his physical strength once he begins to recover. Sam is currently breathing with the use of a ventilator.
