"We lost everything in a fire."

On January 31, 2024, my long time friend, artist, and collaborator Sam Evans lost everything he had in a fire at his home, including his vehicle that had only liability insurance.

Yesterday morning I received a text that said "I got everyone out just in time but lost everything."

I'm starting this gofundme to help Sam and his family get back on their feet financially, post needs as they arise, the most immediate need being a reliable vehicle to replace the SUV that was lost in the fire.

Update #1:

Thank you all so much for your support in the first 24 hours! Sam and Rae are grateful and humbled by all of your support. If you have donated please feel free to share far and wide. Any and every amount gets us closer to our goal.

Here is a picture of Sam with his partner Rae and her two boys, 14 and 9, who were both sleeping when the fire broke out. Sam was able to wake them and get them out of harms way. Luckily Rae was on her way home from work and nobody was harmed:

Wow! Thanks to your generous support we've almost made it to 2k!

Second update is that Sam sent us a list of items lost in the fire. We are posting them here so that you know what is needed, what your donations will be helping with, and also if anyone has any of these items they could donate we can sort out a plan to get them to Sam and Rae who are in TN, just outside of Murfreesboro. If you do have any of these items please contact me (Tyler) using the contact form below and I can help get them to Sam and his family. Here is the list:
