Sam Diggins Memorial & Medical Expense Fundraiser

We are incredibly saddened by the passing of our dear friend Sam Diggins, on Monday August 22. His death took us by surprise as he had an amazing way of always bouncing back near deaths door. He rarely complained and outwardly showed joy and gratitude for each moment of life he had since his cancer diagnosis and treatment. His cancer journey was a difficult one with many bumps in the road and he with Eldeen’s undying love and support in terrible times travelled that road to be the most out of each moment. He inspired us and many as he worked hard to never give up and always look for the joy in each moment.

Please help me to help Eldeen by considering a donation, as any amount will truly help during this very difficult time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment in time with the loss of our Sam. Eldeen is absolutely devastated by Sam’s passing. Together they have touched so many lives, with their love for each other and others, their generosity and support of so many family and friends.

The costs of his treatments at Mayo Hospital and the expenses of his Celebration of Life have and continue to be a struggle for Eldeen.

"Yesterday afternoon I lost my love, my husband, my Sam. His battle with Cancer is over. I am thankful to have had Sam in my life, to love him and feel his love for me. I am thankful for all the moments that we have had in his difficult Cancer journey, the extra years, days, minutes and seconds. Moments that we cherished and celebrated consistently. I am thankful for all of you who have loved Sam, and who have given Sam your support through his life and this journey, and helped me to show him what an amazing husband, great father, great son, great brother, great grandfather, a great friend and a great man he was. He is now at peace and in no pain.

My heart hurts, no tears can wash away the pain of his loss."
